In my attempts to review the topic of "Essay" and practice for my final exam of which a part is to do an essay, I tried to make this draft:

Why Australia’s Health Care System is considered the best?

       Medicare was introduced in Australia back in 1984 and this service covers universal access to free treatment in public hospitals and now it is sometimes used to describe the Australian Health Care System. Medicare has been an important service because of the access to free treatment.

Yet today, this service supporting a chronic disease or mental illness. On the other hand, Australia such as member of the Commonwealth, provides to its population public hospitals, medical services and pharmaceuticals.

         Australia has a Federal System of government, furthermore, his national government is part of the Commonwealth, as a result, the Federation has to support the health of its population with an important division of responsibilities and roles across levels of government.

 Health indicators are strong, for example Australian life expectancy is the third longest in the OECD. Nonetheless, there are concerns in common with many developed countries, such as the ageing of the population, rising levels of obesity, the prevalence of mental illness, and the burden of chronic diseases.

          Due to the fact that public hospitals are operated by the State and Territory Governments, which also deliver a variety of mental health, dental, school health and community health programs. For example, the Australian Government provides financial support to help people with a chronic medical condition. If you are eligible, you can also claim an early release of superannuation. Another kind of services that Medicare provides are: free or subsidised treatment by health professionals such as doctors, specialists, optometrists and specific circumstances dentists and other allied health practitioners. Generally, 75% of the Medicare Schedule fee for services and procedures. As regards of the agreements with the Commonwealth, all Australians have free access to treatment in all cases that the person need it.

Even in spite of public hospitals receive public patients, they can also admit private patients, who may face a range of out of pocket charges. The case of private patients is a singular one because, if they comes from a private hospital, the patient can’t choose the doctor, but, if the patients comes from a public hospital, they get a treating doctor assigned by the hospital.

Private health insurance funds highly regulated, insurance can cover private treatment in hospital and out of hospital services not covered by Medicare. For instance, on July 1, 2012, access to the rebate has been means tested, with the full 30% applying only to individuals with annual income less $84,000 and families less than $168,000.

      Medicare system of Australia is one of the best services Australians, because support the health of population reducing effectively the costs of the medical services, although the percentage is destined to medical services, the entire population has benefits from it, however, it is given priority for patients with chronic diseases.

In the week we talked about the use of 3° conditional and 3° conditional mixed and we did an exercise about this, that is why the teacher gave us a reading and we tried to read but it was so difficult because the letter looks like "spider legs".

We started to talk about the composition of an Essay, it´s necessary that we understand the parts of an essay because is more easy to write, we have to follow the next rules:

1. The essay was formed with 5 paragraphs

1° Paragraph:
- Talk about the position that you have about some topic
- Central idea about what are you talking about of that

2° Paragraph
- Talk about the principal ideas

3°Paragraph
- Stadistics, formal information that argue the central idea

4° Paragraph
- Position
-Reasons

5° Paragraph
- Conclusion the own argue about the topic

Human Rights

This time I decides to talk a little bit about the Human Righst, actually is a very common topic because we live a terrorific situation in the world, on case it could be the situation that had Birmania.
But we don´t have to go far a way, Mexico, for example received a recommendation of Nations Unions with the cases of Guerrero (Ayotzinapa and Tatlaya) because its talk about the crimes very important.

When I finished the levels on Duolingo I had 73% of advanced practiced, the good part of this app is when send you a report about the mistakes and the advances that you had in every levels; in addition, you have the opportunity to certificate the levels that you did. 

Regularly I did 20 minutes per day and sometimes I mixed with portuguese.

 

One of the benefits of technology are the app´s that you can download on your cellphone or I pad; these tools are amazing because you can practice whatever language and you can decide the moment to play with that.

I´d like - Duolingo- because you can developed different skills, for example:

a) Writing: 

You can use this skill when you have to translate sentences Spanish to English or in the other mode English to Spanish.

b) Listening:

The person who is doing whatever activity describe an activity and you have to write the meaning

c) Visual learning:

When you have to find the twin of one word, for example, opposite of black.... white 

d) Reading:

Finally, when you end a level you will certificate the work that you did.

In this time I had ony one answer about my entry, regularly when you post a corrections in others entries you have the opportunity to have more corrections but this week was difficult because I had a lot of homework.

Some of the mistakes that I can look in this corrections were:

1. To be more expresive in the sentences

2. Correct use of adjectives (She said "Cloudy")

3. Use of past perfect

The correction could be:

"It´s been a long time since I´ve written because I have had a very complicated past few weeks in college, I had every difficult exams so I had to study so much but I´m here again. Today we are going to talk about "Global warming". Now a days, this is a very common concept but the results of this situation are very clear.

Last week we had very rare days because in only one day we had a rainbow, storm, sunny and cloudy day."

 

Another of my bestfriends in Tandem is Amanda, with this girl I talk in the night for the difference between Brazil and Mexico, she has a lot of dreams and she has plans to come to Mexico to know Cancun, that is why I told that one option on Cancun is Holbox, that is an amazing beach, it´s a paradise and you can stay in direct contact with the nature.

I can talk a lot of thing with her because we study in the same area, sometimes she said that the situation in Brazil it´s difficult because have a bipolar society. One part of Brazil is so poor but in other side have the best places when the people have a lot of money. In topics like corruption Amanda said that is the same situation that the mexicans had and this is very sad because it´s a country very rich in other things, the problem is the control of the government or the work of institutions.

Sarah is one of my favorite person to talked because with her I can practice my english and portuguese, regularly I talk with her in portuguese but I prefered to talk in english to practice, 

She likes to practice two idioms, spanish and english, is a student of publicity and international marketing in the University of Anhanguera on Brazil.

Sarah loves to talk about publicity, music, arts, reading (novels) and she likes dance and sing a lot of music. She doesn´t have boyfriend but she is sating a guy  for 5 month, I think that she is falling in love but she doesn´t accepted that. Regularly I talked with her on whatsapp because sometimes "TANDEM" is very slow.

This new kind of do the exams I really like because you can support with your partner to do in the best way the weekly exam, In this examen I was with my friend Lulú, I thing that in general we have the same ideas with the reading but the part that was diffcult for both was the last part.

The problem was that the instructions were: "In a small paragraph summarize the paper and write your own reflections/ opinion on the conclusions and suggestions give. (This question is worth five credits)"

Of course, Lulú and me had differents opions about the reading and we had differents conclusions with the principal ideas, so Lulu think that one part was interesting but maybe this part was simple for me, so we have to fix this part for mix the ideas of Lulu with my opinion. 

Then when we talked with the teacher all the gruop said that was diffcult this part because the reading have different ideas that were important but we only have to do a summarize of all. This kind of problem  also occurs in reflection of our careers , in this case , Lulu is a student of Engineering and I´m a student of International Affairs. Perhaps I see more the angle of society and Lulu was looking for something more concrete and practical to help understand reading in a simple summary .

This weekly exam was easy because I used a nice type of learning to know the words, the only fact that I think that was difficcult to end my exam was the time because I have a ceremony of Bachelor´s Degree soI had to leave early; that is why I had two mistakes.

In general, it was easy learned this words because I´m a visual learner, so 

what I did was use work cards and put images with different colors to remember the meanings making analogies. Some words was known for my but others was new. that is why I studied 2 days before for the exam.

Today I´m going to talk about my last entry on the blog, but first I have to remember one of the important things that we saw in class, the best option for the use of Lang 8 is to correct as much possible entries of other guys to win stars, when you have a lot of stars generally the answer on your publications are best.

For example, this was my last entry on Lang 8.

So, I have to put my corrections like this:

"Now I´m going to talk about corruption in Mexico. 

Mexico has a lot of problems with corruption so I thinl that the first thing the government has to do is change their institutions because it´s incredible how bad the process is in some cases. For example, with the Ayotzinapan case the Mexican Government didn´t do anything. That´s why it received a lot of recommendations from United Nations (UN)."

One of the things that I learned with this corrections were:

1. Put a complete names of whatever organism.

2. Don´t forget the person who is talking about(in this case Mexico)

3. Separate ideas

Last Class the lesson begin with candies because the teacher said that some of the group are very punctual, so we receive a good reward, it was a good form to start the class. We talk a little bit about the pronunciation of the words because sometimes we are confused, that is why we did an activity so funny with words.

The importance of this activity are based on the good memory (to remember the begin of the word and the final word), attention with the order of the alphabet and the last word that other partner said. I really like this kind of activity because it helps to remember information in general and to introduce other words in my own vocabulary.

For example, if I had to spell my name it could be:
-A- as in Adjetive
-n- as in nine
-d- as in diamond
-y- as in young

We continue with the reading of “Angela's ashes" and we found a lot of new words or composed word that we didn't know the meaning, for example, damp clumps that means a group of whatever, another word was piety that means devote for God, slum ,someone that is very poor (for example, Favelas on Brazil).

Finally for the homework we have to read two more chapters of the reading, page 9 to 11.
